I. Safety Precautions


There is high voltage in the processor, to prevent any unexpected hazard, unless you are a maintenance personnel, please do not open the cover of the device.



a) This device shall not encounter water sprinkle or splash, please do not place anything containing water on this device.

b) To prevent fire, keep this device far from any fire source. 

c) If this device gives out any strange noise, smoke or smell, please immediately unplug the power cord from receptacle, and contact local dealer.

d) Please do not plug or unplug DVI signal cable if the device is powered on.



a) Please thoroughly read this manual before using this device, and keep it well for future reference.

b) In the event of lighting or when you are not going to use the device for a long time, please pull the power plug out of receptacle. 

c) Nobody other than professional technicians can operate the device, unless they have been appropriately trained or under guidance of technicians. 

d) To prevent equipment damage or electric shock, please don’t fill in anything in the vent of the device. 

e) Do not place the device near any water source or anywhere damp. 

f) Do not place the device near any radiator or anywhere under high temperature. 

g) To prevent rupture or damage of power cords, please handle and keep them properly. 

h) Please immediately unplug power cord and have the device repaired, when


i. Liquid splashes to the device. 

ii. The device is dropped down or cabinet is damaged.

iii. Obvious malpractice is found or performance degrades.

IV. Instructions of LVP86XX Control Software

The software is used to control LVP86XX Multi-Window Sync Processor. By it we can realize following functions:

1.Communication Mode

LVP86XX can be controlled by the software through RS232 or USB port.

In this way, firstly connect the communication serial port of PC (COM) or USB to LVP86XX and then run the program: LVP86XX Control Software.exe 

2. Software Interface

1) Special Instruction

Several points need to be specially noted about the software:

● LVP86XX has 16 configuration modes and modes of input cards, output cards and matrix board are all different. 

● A hidden menu acquired by right-click is specially designed for output cards. 

● 7 input cards are available at most (A, B, C, D, E, F, G): A and B support 2 straight-through DVI inputs and others only support single 

straight-through DVI input. 

● Output cards (K, L, M, N): each card has 4 outputs and each output can choose any one of 4 inputs as its input source.


●  blob.png, fine adjustment can be found by right-click in all the options of sizing. Select the option and the window will show up.

1.Current resolution.

When select another resolution, a confirm message will pop up.


Select “ blob.png”, all the resolutions of input cards and output cards will be changed. A detailed illustration will be given based on resolution 1920x1080@60Hz in the following.

10. Matrix Board

● Only 1 piece of matrix board is available for matrix switching between inputs and outputs. 

● Matrix board has also 16 modes.

● Only existing input signals are available and selectable for outputs. 

● Non-existing output cards and corresponding outputs are forbidden to use. 

● Input signals are selectable, but only when PIP is turned on then PIP signals are available. 

● No signals from straight-through cards can be chosen, both of two DVI signals can be an option for matrix. 

● Loop signals are from output port 1 of card M and N, but input signals from card M and N can’t be selected as loop signals. 

● Click blob.png, to configure the matrix state of all current output cards into the device.

● If the matrix state is not as needed, click blob.png.


11. Output Card



1. Allocate an input channel to the corresponding input port. 

2. Settings of input channels of an output card. 

3. Parameters of the current input channel. 

4. Channel selection. 

5. Settings of 4 output ports of an output card. 

6. Parameters of the current output port.

● Drag any window or zoom in and out, the corresponding parameters will show up, press“ ” to send the parameters to the device.

● Right lick the window area and the menu will show up.

● Right lick input setup and the following menu will show up. Fast mosaic is limited to configuration mode 4 and 7 and fine adjustment is used for sizing of current input channel.


● Fast mosaic is specially designed based on regular LED screens. Only one input card’s settings can be configured each time. Operation procedure is in sequence shown on the above figure:



“Channel Settings”: the device’s minimal value available is 0, so when the width or height is 0, it means that the represented module can’t be displayed and the size settings can only be performed by opening the fine adjustment window through the menu:


1. Switch on/off output channels. When an output channel is switched off, no pictures will be output from it but only appears blue. 

2. Select input channel. If the same input channel is selected for 4 output channel, this normally will be for mosaic. 

3. Return to the current state of the output card. 

4. Save settings of the current output card.

For example, when we need to have the “4-in and 4-out” effect:





Remark: All pictures will be output from channel 1. No pictures will be output from channel 2, 3, 4 and screen will be blank. Overlap relation of windows and layer changing time can be adjusted randomly.

12. Multi-card Mosaic Mode (only in configuration mode 6)


1. Modes. 

2. Channel selection: the selected one will be put on the top layer.


 Multi-card mosaic is performed based on CH1 as the background picture. 

 CH2, CH3 and CH4 can be used for mosaic: the calculation is based on the current resolution. 

 As shown in above figure, CH2, CH3 and CH4 can be dragged randomly, press “save” to update the state to the device.

 Right lick output setup and the following menu will pop up:




13. Usage Mode 

● 16 usage modes can be saved for each of input card, output card and matrix board. 

● During using the device, the mode of using each input card, output card or matrix board is one of the 16 modes.

● The usage mode of each of input card, output card or matrix board can be invoked separately or together (for example: input card A in mode 1 and card B in mode 2; output card K in mode 3 and card L in mode 4; matrix board in mode 2).

The following figures are used to show the usage modes of input card, output card and matrix board:

● If the current card is not in configuration mode 4, then the setup is not available.

● The fixed width of the blending area is 128. 

● To use CH1 and CH2 for horizontal blending: 

CH1: the value of horizontal right starting point is the width of the screen 

CH2: the value of horizontal left starting point is 0

● To use CH1 and CH2 for vertical blending:

CH1: the value of downward starting point is the width of the screen 

CH2: the value of upward starting point is 0 

Remark: fine adjustment is necessary sometimes for setting the starting point depending on the actual application.

LVP86XX is a customized product, the required number of input cards and output cards will be determined by the specific requirements of customers. For example, LVP8662 means that it is equipped with 6 pieces of input cards and 2 pieces of output cards.
